Heart’s Desire

The desires and motives of your heart will ultimately determine the outcome of our actions.

There is no gray area when it comes to the Bible and God's commandments. Your actions, your thoughts, your motives, your relationships and even your will to serve God will either be good or bad; right or wrong. What truly matters is the intent of the heart.

Matthew 12:33-35 says this "Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things."

God wants us to completely devote our life to Him, in every aspect. This doesn't mean making whatever reckless decision we want throughout the week and then going to church on Sunday thinking we've met your quota but literally, spending every moment being lead by Him and seeking to glorify Him with every thought and action.

God loves us, He loves you and cares so deeply for us that He has given each and everyone one of us a will to make good and bad decisions, through His grace and love we have the ability to overcome temptation and make wise decisions that will ultimately glorify Him. Choose today not to seek after pleasing your own selfish desires but to follow Christ and allow Him to guide you every step of the way. He is the creator of all things and He knows your life better than anyone else, including yourself. If you trust in the Lord and purse Him with your life nothing will be impossible!
