Created for a Purpose
God loves us so much that He created each and everyone one of us individually with a heart and desire to serve Him.
We were created for a purpose, His purpose.
He is the author and the creator of our lives and therefor deserves all the glory! You and I were created in the image of God so that we may have a relationship with God that lasts for eternity.
Genesis 1:26-27 says this "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."
God doesn't want us to simply know about him or of His existence but to have a genuine relationship with with Him. There's a distinctive difference between knowing about God and having an personal, intimate, relationship with our Lord and Savior.
Dedicate your life each day to living more like Christ. Walk in His footsteps. Learn from His Word and teachings. Let His life be your determination and measure of success. Don't let the world sway your decisions or put false hope in your life with lies of temporary pleasures. Let God to fill your life with joy and peace! He gave us the perfect example of the way we ought to live our life through His Son, Jesus. He gave us life; He gave us a reason to live and a reason to love.
1 Peter 2:2 says this "For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps."
God has thoroughly equipped us with Biblical principals through His Word on how we ought to live our life such as the Great Commandments (Exodus 20:1-18) and the Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) along with providing other believers and the church to help guide our lives according to those Biblical foundations. He has given us all that we need. He is all that we need. There truly is hope, peace and a life full of love when we live in the light of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
