Die to Self

God does not call us to be true to ourselves but to die to ourselves and follow Him.

He did not create us for our own self gain but for His pleasure. God does not tell us to be first in all that we do but rather to put Him first! Accepting Christ into your life should be a complete life altering experience; giving up your life, your hopes and your dreams to follow the path that God has for your life. He is the way, the truth and the life! He is the only way and it is in Him and Him alone that we will find hope!

Luke 9:23-25 says this "And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?"
