Hope in Christ

How wonderful is it to have a God who is there with us every step of the way? Who is alive and active in our hearts. Who cares so deeply about you that He desires for you to spend eternity with Him. Who loves you so much He sent His son to die for you and me.

Life is a roller coaster, full of emotions and experiences that’ll take us through an unexpected journey but there’s no need for us to worry or fear the unknown because you are not alone. The Lord is our Shepherd, He is our Protector, our Father and our Leader. Have faith and trust in the provisions of our God, trust in His direction for your life.

Don’t let the world or media or current events cause you to worry. Don’t be clouded by your own judgment or misguided by your own understanding. Our hope and our knowledge should come from the Word of God. It is in Him alone that hope exists. When we truly trust in the Lord, truly give up our life to Him and take every step forward with Him right along side then fear becomes obsolete. God promises that If we learn to trust in Him our lives will in turn be full of joy, full of purposes and goodness will follow us.

Psalm 23 says this “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.”

God never promised that life would be easy but rather He promised a full and meaningful life when we have faith and accept Him into our life. He wants us to be challenged, He wants us to grow but more importantly He wants us to follow in the footsteps of Christ, to be like Him and be a light to a lost and dying world. Don’t go another day searching for an answer or the truth but find that hope in the love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
