Not Alone

It’s difficult to feel alone when you have the love and presence of Christ in your life.

As an introvert; someone who regains energy off time spent in solitude, and having lived alone the better half of the last 10 years. I'm often asked if I have ever felt lonely or alone? And the truth is, it’s difficult to feel alone when you have the love and presence of Christ in your life.

Did you catch that? The presence of Christ living within your heart; serving, loving and growing in a relationship with Him, that is why I'll never feel alone. If we are living outside of the will of God and in sin that is when fear, anxiety and loneliness begin to set in. Yes, loneliness exists but when we allow God to live within our heart He changes the way we perceive being alone. We no longer feel lonely but rather we are encouraged and live with a sense of peace because we have faith in His presence.

Deuteronomy 31:6 says this “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”

There’s no reason to fear the unknown or being alone, if we have a solid foundation in the Lord and are grounded in His love than He will bring us comfort and peace. Even when it may seem like the world is against you and your friends and family aren’t there, God is there with arms wide open. Let go of your fears and trust God! Spend time in the Word and in prayer, when we focus on His promises than His peace will give us Hope in time of need and loneliness! You are not alone, God is there!
