Change.

While life may feel sporadic and unpredictable the one thing you can always count on and be prepared for is change.

We live in an ever evolving and changing world. Our cities, our health, our life, our jobs, technology, what we eat, who we spend time with. As time progress, it is natural for things to change and to become different. If change is so common then why do we still fear it?

Thankfully, as much as the world around you will change or the life you live faces obstacles there’s one thing that will never change and His name is Jesus.

Hebrews 13:8 says this “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and for ever.”

How amazing is it to know that in the last thousand years, our God has never changed. The same God, that created this world in 6 days, saved the Israelites out of Egypt’s slavery, rescued Daniel from the Lion’s den, sent His Son to die on a cross for our sins..this same God has never changed! The power He had in the beginning is the very same power that lives today!

As a child of God we have no reason to fear change because God lives within our life, He controls our destiny and the fate of our future lies in His hands. When we give our life to the Lord, He desires the very best for our lives. This doesn’t always mean rainbows and butterflies sometimes we will face difficulties and challenges but in the midst of these trials God is there to help cary you through. Trust in Him.

Philippians 4:13 says this “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Don’t let your fear of the unexpected cause you to doubt or fear the unknown. How big is your God? How strong is your faith? By allowing fear to control you, you’re saying that your fear is bigger than your faith. If Christ can save you from an eternity in hell He can definitely save you from the current storm you’re facing. You can do all things through Christ. BIG or little. There is nothing, no change or challenge that our God cannot save you from. Have faith and find strength, not in the world or yourself but in Christ!
