A Voice

No matter who you are, where you are, where you’ve come from or where you’re going. No matter the color of your skin, your ethnicity, or who you vote for. No matter what your interests are or your position in life. You DO have a voice.

You might think that no one is listening but the only way you’ll ever be heard is if you speak up! While there are many instances where we might have a desire to speak up and a yearning to be heard the only moment that will truly make a difference is when we use our voice to share the name of Jesus.

We are all passionate about something and while it’s important to share our opinion in matters such as passion or politics. When we use our voice to share the name of Christ, we are making a difference in the hearts of those who listen. As a believer our ultimate goal should be to please our Lord and pursue the life that He has designed uniquely for each us. In Christ, we have purpose.

2 Corinthians 5:20 says this “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.”

When you accept Jesus into your life you immediately become an ambassador of Christ, as an ambassador it is our privilege, our duty and it should be our desire to spread the gospel and share the amazing work He has done in our life with all whom we come into contact with. God did not create us to keep our mouths shut but to proudly proclaim His name. Get excited about what God has done in your life and use the voice He gave you to inspire, encourage and offer hope.

Don’t let the devil win, he might attempt to attack your will to speak truth but God is on your side. When the devil tempted Jesus, He used the Bible as way to counteract his attacks. The more you are in the Word the closer you become too God and the harder it will be for the devil to win!

If you are a child of God then you are an ambassador to Christ. Be proud of what He has done for you; don’t be afraid or ashamed to let the whole world know the impact He has made in your life. Allow God to use you and your voice to make a difference in the world!
